It is both a great honor and a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 19th Electromagnetic Launch Technology Symposium (EML) which will take place in Saint-Louis, France, June 18th – June 22nd 2018.
The Electromagnetic Launch Technology Symposium (EML) is a biennial event that serves as the principal forum for the discussion, interchange, and presentation of research on critical technologies for accelerating macroscopic objects or projectiles to hypervelocities using electromagnetic or electrothermochemical launchers. The EML symposia have a long-standing international reputation as a catalyst for stimulating research in the field of electromagnetic launch.
Next year’s symposium will be held June 18th through June 22nd, 2018 at the convention center ‘Forum’ in Saint-Louis, France. The successful single-session format of the conference including key notes, topical, and poster sessions will be kept. A provisional symposium website has been created that lists important dates and details about the event for attendees and presenters:
The submission of abstracts will begin on November 1st, 2017 and the deadline will extend until December 20th, 2017. The online registration will open also on November 1st, 2017.
We look forward to seeing you in Saint-Louis next summer.
